time to show you one of my latest miniatures to you. This one is a gift for a friend of mine. She did me a favor and this is small "Thank you" from my side. As she is a big Breaking Bad fan I imagined to paint this Gront in a Walter White fashion.
Additionally I was a bit bored by all the green orcs I painted and saw in the past. So I decided to go for a different skin tone.
another painted miniature is entering the saloon. Every crew needs a captain to be fully operational and so I decided to finish Captain Garcia for the Imperial Armada crew. Now it is a full playable force. But have a look by yourself.
another new member for the ever growing Imperial Armada crew I´m painting once in a while. So, pirate scum out there be aware of the Teniente entering the deck. You better get some sea miles between her and your nutshell of a boat. Otherwise this day will not end as a happy one for you.
my hobby week plans are performing quite well. I painted on monday and also found the time to do some painting yesterday. The Graydalf miniature is finally heading to completion. It is time to think about a fitting base to put him onto.
In the meanwhile I want to show you the next crew member for my growing Goblin pack. It ist again a speed painted miniature which I started in January shortly before a tournament. I managed to finish a rough version right in time and did some adjustments over the last weeks. As I did not spend so much time in painting this one there are some flaws here and there but overall I´m quite satisfied with the result.
Scale: 40 mm
Material: Gray Resin
No of pieces: various
Sculptor: Stepan Nikolaev
today I want to do a review of two really great miniatures I fell in love with as soon as I spotted them. As you all might know I´m a huge Lord of the rings fan and therefore it is quite obvious that cartoon miniatures hit a sweet spot with this creation. But have a look on your own: May I present Graydalf and Aramouse to you fine folks!
recently I finished a lovely bust from Nuts Planet. Ok, it was not recently. Some time past since I did the last brush stroke on it but somehow I totally forgot to show the finished piece here on the blog. Time to change this! If you want to vote for it feel free to do so. Behind this link you can find this piece in my Putty and Paint Gallery.
Thanks for your interest and here you can see this mighty berserker of ancient times:
here is a new member for the Imperial Armada Crew I´m painting once in a while. I had a look on the La Noche de Brujas rulebook where this character appeared for the first time in Longfall and got inspired by the artwork. SoI tried to paint it with a light source but using the color scheme I decided to give to this crew (black, white and red).
this one really kept me busy for quite a while. It´s one additional specialist for my ever growing goblin crew but in fact it was three miniatures to paint. One of it was really complex and had some nasty areas where access with the brush was not quite easy....
If you can´t remember: The first member of this piggyback team you can find here.
just a quick post for today. A few weeks ago I finished another miniature for a friend of mine which he was in need of due to a tournament we both participated back in January. As I was in lack of time (as always during the last weeks...) I had to do some speed painting on this one. Normally I hate to do this but this time it was different. I achieved the result below in round about 3 hours which fairly good compared to my normal painting speed.
